Accountant – Surat

Job Summary

We are hiring an Accountant for a client in Surat. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting activities and a positive understanding of Tally/Tally Prime, GST, MS Excel, billing, bookkeeping, and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain daily accounting records and books of accounts.
- Record purchase, sales, expenses, receipts, and payment transactions.
- Manage accounting entries and transactions in Tally/Tally Prime.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, vouchers, receipts, and payment records.
- Handle purchase and sales entries accurately.
- Assist with GST-related accounting and documentation.
- Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliation.
- Track receivables, payables, and outstanding payments.
- Maintain accurate financial and expense records.
- Prepare basic accounting reports using MS Excel.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.




- Verify accounting entries and ensure accuracy of records.
- Complete day-to-day accounting activities accurately and on time.

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
- B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent Commerce qualification preferred.
- Good knowledge of Tally/Tally Prime.
- Basic understanding of GST and taxation.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience in billing, bookkeeping, and reconciliation.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain accurate and organized financial records.
