Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Site Engineer to manage day-to-day construction activities at our project sites in Goa. The ideal candidate will oversee site execution, ensure adherence to drawings and specifications, coordinate with contractors and project teams, and maintain quality, safety, and progress standards throughout the project lifecycle. He will understand the project diagrams and generate bills subsequently.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Site Execution & Supervision

- Supervise and execute all on-site construction activities as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and project plans.
- Ensure proper implementation of construction methods, quality standards, and workmanship.
- Coordinate and manage labor, subcontractors, and site resources.

2. Planning & Scheduling

- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules.
- Track progress and ensure timely completion of construction activities.
- Identify delays or constraints and suggest corrective actions.

3. Quality Assurance & Control

- Conduct inspections to ensure the quality of work meets project and IS code standards.
- Monitor concrete works, reinforcement placement, shuttering, masonry, plastering, and finishing activities.
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and maintain quality records.

4. Measurement & Documentation

- Take joint measurements for RA Bills and subcontractor payments.
- Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR), site logs, checklists, and material consumption records.
- Provide quantity-based inputs to the billing department when required.

Material & Resource Management

- Monitor material delivery, usage, and storage on site.
- Raise material requisitions based on project requirements.
- Ensure optimal use of manpower and construction equipment.

6. Safety Monitoring

- Implement and monitor onsite safety protocols and ensure compliance with company HSE policies.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and resolve unsafe conditions.
- Coordinate with the safety officer to maintain a hazard-free work environment.

7. Coordination & Communication

- Coordinate with Project Managers, QS/Billing Engineers, Planning Engineers, Vendors, and Clients.
- Participate in site meetings and provide updates on progress, issues, and requirements.
- Communicate technical instructions clearly to supervisors and workers.

8. Problem Solving & Technical Support

- Resolve site-level technical challenges and provide engineering solutions.
- Review and interpret drawings, and highlight discrepancies, clashes, or missing details to consultants/designers.
- Required Qualifications & Skills

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 2–7 years of experience in building, infrastructure, or industrial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, engineering standards, and site execution practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project (preferred).
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage site activities efficiently.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹37,691.87 per month
