Job Description – Sizing Executive (Textile Industry)

Job Title: Sizing Executive
Department: Weaving / Sizing
Experience: 2 to 10 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech / B.E in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, or related field
Location: Erode
Reporting To: Sizing Manager / Production Manager

Key Responsibilities

Production & Process Management

- Operate and monitor sizing machines to achieve daily production targets.
- Ensure proper sizing application as per yarn count, fabric construction, and customer specifications.
- Monitor warp beam preparation and sizing process parameters.
- Optimize machine performance to achieve maximum machine efficiency.
- Coordinate with weaving, warping, and quality departments for smooth production flow.




- Ensure timely availability of sized beams for weaving production.

Quality Control

- Monitor size pick-up percentage and maintain required standards.
- Ensure uniform penetration and adhesion of sizing chemicals.
- Reduce yarn breakage during sizing and weaving processes.
- Conduct regular quality checks for sized beam characteristics.
- Analyze fabric and loom performance issues related to sizing quality.
