About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and creative Junior Video Editor to join our wedding filmmaking team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in cinematic storytelling, music, visuals, and editing.

You will work closely with our senior editors and filmmakers to transform wedding footage into emotional, engaging, and cinematic films.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit wedding films, highlights, reels, teasers, and social media content.
- Organize and manage large volumes of video footage.
- Select the best shots and create a strong visual narrative.
- Sync footage with music and create emotion-driven sequences.
- Perform basic colour correction and grading.
- Add transitions, titles, sound effects, and basic motion graphics.
- Maintain the visual style and quality standards of The Ovian Studios.
- Take feedback from senior editors and make revisions accordingly.
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Keep up with current wedding-film, Instagram Reel, and cinematic editing trends.

Skills Required

- Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Good understanding of editing fundamentals, cuts,



transitions, pacing, and music.
- Strong sense of music and visual storytelling.
- Good attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and improve.
- Ability to work under deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of colour grading and sound editing is an advantage.

- Candidates with personal projects, college projects, YouTube videos, or Instagram edits.
- Candidates with 0–1 year of professional editing experience.
- A degree or formal editing qualification is not mandatory if you have good creative skills.
