Job Description – CTL Machine Operator

Location: D-129, Bulandshahr Bypass Rd, Industrial Area, Bulandshahr Road Industrial Area, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh – 201009
Working Days: 6 days a week
Weekly Off: Sunday (Fixed)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible CTL (Cut-to-Length) Machine Operator to operate and monitor CTL machinery for accurate cutting and processing of steel coils/sheets as per production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate CTL machines safely and efficiently as per production plans.
- Set machine parameters according to required sheet length, width, thickness, and specifications.
- Load and unload coils/material using appropriate handling equipment.
- Monitor machine operation, production speed, cutting accuracy, and output quality.
- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, cutting, and stacking of material.
- Check dimensions and quality of finished material during production.
- Identify and report machine abnormalities, breakdowns, or quality issues.
- Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance.
- Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE at the workplace.
- Maintain production records, material consumption, and shift reports.




- Minimize material wastage and ensure optimum machine utilization.
- Coordinate with the production, quality, and maintenance teams.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping around the machine and work area.

Candidate Requirements

- 2–5 years of experience operating CTL/steel processing machines preferred.
- Knowledge of steel coils, sheets, cutting, leveling, and material handling.
- Ability to understand machine settings and production instructions.
- Basic knowledge of measuring instruments such as measuring tape, vernier caliper, etc.
- Ability to identify common machine and quality-related issues.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a manufacturing/industrial workplace.
- Safety-conscious and disciplined.
- ITI/Diploma or relevant technical qualification will be preferred.
