Job Description: Accountant – Indian Accounting

Qualification

- CA / CA Inter / CA Intern / B.Com / M.Com / Relevant Finance Degree (Regular)

Experience

- 3+ years of experience in Indian accounting.
- Company payroll experience is mandatory.
- Experience in the Construction / Engineering / BIM / Infrastructure industry will be preferred.
- Experience in handling HR-related responsibilities will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities – Accounts & Finance

- Handle end-to-end Indian payroll processing and statutory compliance.
- Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC and related filings.
- Ensure compliance with Indian statutory and company laws.
- Prepare P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and MIS reports.
- Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closing of accounts.
- Handle accounts payable, receivable and bank reconciliations.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants and tax authorities.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.

HR Responsibilities

- Handle basic HR activities along with accounting responsibilities.
- Maintain and update employee records and documentation.
- Support payroll-related employee queries and salary-related coordination.
- Coordinate with employees regarding attendance, leave, payroll, PF and ESI-related matters.
- Assist with employee onboarding and HR documentation.




- Coordinate with HR/management on employee-related matters as required.

Software Knowledge

- Zoho Books
- Tally Prime / Tally ERP
- Advanced MS Excel
- Payroll / HRMS software experience will be an advantage.

Team Management

- Lead and manage the Accounts team.
- Review accounting work and ensure accuracy and timely completion.
- Allocate tasks and monitor team performance.
- Coordinate with HR and other departments when required.

Skills Required

- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting, taxation and statutory compliance.
- Good understanding of payroll, PF and ESIC.
- Knowledge of the Construction / Engineering industry is preferred.
- Ability to handle both Accounts and basic HR responsibilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and team-handling skills.
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹40,369.12 - ₹50,000.00 per month
