Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

- HVAC Design certifications will be an added advantage.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior HVAC Design Engineer with extensive experience in the design of Chilled Water Systems, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Chillers, Ventilation, VRF/VRV, and DX Systems for commercial, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, and high-rise building projects. The candidate should have strong technical expertise in HVAC design, equipment selection, and multidisciplinary coordination within an HVAC contracting workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Design HVAC systems including Chilled Water Systems, Water-Cooled & Air-Cooled Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Cooling Towers, Pumping Systems, Ventilation, Smoke Extraction, Staircase Pressurization, VRF/VRV, and DX Systems.

- Perform cooling and heating load calculations using HAP, Elite CHVAC, or equivalent software.

- Select and size Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Pumps, Cooling Towers, Air Distribution Systems, and HVAC Equipment based on project requirements.

- Prepare HVAC layouts, ducting and piping designs, equipment schedules, and technical calculations.

- Develop BOQs, technical specifications, tender documents, and equipment comparison statements.

- Coordinate HVAC designs with Architectural,



Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection teams.

- Review shop drawings and provide technical support during project execution and commissioning.

- Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, SMACNA, ISHRAE, NBC, and local authority standards.

- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and value engineering discussions.

- Guide and mentor junior design engineers and review design deliverables.

Required Skills

- Solid expertise in AHU and Chiller Plant Design, chilled water system design, equipment selection, and HVAC calculations.

- Hands-on experience with Air-Cooled & Water-Cooled Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Pumps, and Cooling Towers.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and HVAC design software (HAP, Elite CHVAC, Carrier E20, etc.).

- Knowledge of Revit MEP/BIM is preferred.

- Excellent understanding of HVAC codes, standards, and MEP coordination.

- Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in designing HVAC systems for Hospitals, Data Centers, Hotels, Commercial Complexes, Industrial Facilities, Airports, and High-Rise Buildings.

- Experience in design, tendering, estimation, execution support, and commissioning.

Pay: ₹40,374.38 - ₹60,859.71 per month
