The Security Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining the organization's cybersecurity controls to protect applications, servers, networks, cloud infrastructure, and data from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

- Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement security controls across the organization.
- Secure servers, networks, cloud infrastructure, and endpoints.
- Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, WAF, and endpoint protection.
- Monitor security alerts and respond to security incidents.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation.
- Conduct security hardening for Windows, Linux, databases, and cloud resources.
- Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM), MFA, and user permissions.




- Ensure applications follow secure coding and security best practices.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve security issues.
- Support penetration testing and validate security fixes.
- Maintain security documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and SOC 2.
- Investigate security events and perform root cause analysis.
- Conduct security awareness sessions for employees.
- Evaluate and implement new security tools and technologies.
