A non-profit meditation centre in Sonarpur, Kolkata – 700145 is looking for an experienced, sincere, and trustworthy Retired Accountant who would like to use their professional experience in a peaceful, positive, and meaningful environment.

Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month

About the Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a retired accounting professional who wishes to remain professionally engaged while living and working in a peaceful and supportive setting.

The selected person will be responsible for maintaining the centre's routine accounting and financial records and providing basic accounting support to the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain day-to-day accounts and financial records.
- Maintain vouchers, bills, ledgers, and supporting documents.
- Record income and expenses accurately.
- Assist with bank reconciliation and routine accounting activities.
- Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions.
- Prepare basic accounting statements and reports as required.
- Ensure accounts and records are kept accurate and up to date.
- Provide necessary accounting information to the management.

Candidate Profile:





We are looking for someone who is:

✔ A retired / experienced Accountant

✔ Honest, sincere, responsible, and trustworthy

✔ Experienced in practical day-to-day accounting

✔ Comfortable with basic computer operations and MS Excel

✔ Calm, respectful, and comfortable in a peaceful environment

✔ Willing to stay at the centre and contribute their experience to a non-profit organisation
