Job Description – GIS Executive / GIS Engineer

Experience: 3+ Years
Role: GIS – 2D Mapping & Data Processing

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end 2D GIS mapping and data processing activities.
- Create, edit and maintain 2D GIS layers, features and attributes.
- Work on digitization, geo-referencing, vectorization and map preparation.
- Process and update shapefiles, geodatabases, CAD and GIS data.
- Perform spatial data editing, validation and quality checking.
- Work with topographic, utility, land parcel, road, drainage and infrastructure mapping.
- Convert and integrate data from CAD, survey and other GIS sources.
- Prepare thematic maps, layouts and GIS outputs as per project requirements.
- Perform attribute data entry, editing and data management.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency of GIS data.
- Understand and work with survey data such as DGPS/RTK, Total Station and Drone outputs.
- Coordinate with survey and project teams to resolve GIS data issues.




- Follow project specifications, standards and required accuracy levels.
- Support project teams in completing GIS deliverables within timelines.

Required Skills

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on GIS experience.
- Solid experience in 2D GIS mapping and data processing.
- Good working knowledge of ArcGIS / QGIS.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and CAD-to-GIS conversion.
- Experience with digitization, geo-referencing, editing and spatial analysis.
- Ability to handle different types of GIS and survey datasets.
- Good understanding of coordinate systems, projections and GIS data formats.
- Ability to independently handle assigned GIS projects from data preparation to final output.
- Good attention to detail and quality.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹13,500.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
