Job Overview

The Field Service Technician plays a supportive role and has the opportunity to learn and grow alongside the Senior Service Engineers. This position involves executinginstallation/commissioning/servicing/repairs/maintenance of Climatic Chambers and/or allied equipments like Ovens, Vibration, etc.

 Position: Field Service Technician/ Trainee Engineer

 Location: Bangalore

 Education: ITI in Mechanical / Electrical /Air conditioner/ Refirgeration (1 years exp mandatory)

 Communication: Good in verbal & written communication

 Experience: 1–3 years

 Age: Less than 26 years

 Reports to: Manager-Service

 Competitive fixed monthly salary based on experience and skills

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-

Field Travel & Site Management:-

- Customer Visits: Travel daily to various client laboratories, testing facilities, and manufacturing plants.
- On-Site Professionalism: Represent the company professionally while interacting directly with clients on-site.




- Tool Management: Maintain and carry a personal kit of precision tools and safety gear to sites.

On-Site Installation & Commissioning:-

- Equipment Assembly: Unbox, level, and mechanically assemble vibration shakers, fixtures,and chambers at customer labs.
- Utility Integration: Connect water supply, drainage, and ventilation lines for climatic chambers.
- Startup Verification: Run initial test profiles to verify heating, cooling, and vibration parameters before customer handover.

Field Maintenance, Repair & Service:-

- Planned Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive checks on laboratory ovens (seals,heaters, fans) and shakers (armatures, mounts).
- Emergency Breakdowns: Respond quickly to client service calls to diagnose and repair mechanical failures, minimizing their downtime.
- Part Replacement: Swap out defective components like door gaskets, blowers, suspension springs, and mechanical linkages.
- Service Reports: Obtain customer sign-offs on work orders and submit digital or manual field service reports immediately after job completion.

Technical & Physical Requirements:-

- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel as needed.
- Equipment Knowledge: Basic understanding of refrigeration loops, heating systems, and mechanical isolation.
- Driving License: Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license is highly preferred.
