Job Summary

Lucknow Builders is looking for a creative, detail-oriented, client-focused, and target-oriented Interior Designer with minimum 1 year of professional experience in residential and commercial interior projects.

The candidate will be responsible for interior designing, detailing, 2D/3D visualization, client handling, lead generation, site coordination, and timely delivery of designs, while ensuring professional communication and high client satisfaction.

Key ResponsibilitiesInterior Design & Detailing

- Design residential and commercial interior spaces according to client requirements.
- Develop design concepts, space plans, furniture layouts, colour schemes, and material selections.
- Prepare 2D layouts, elevations, sections, working drawings, and detailed interior drawings.
- Create 3D models, interior views, walkthroughs, and realistic renders for client presentations.
- Handle ceiling, flooring, wall treatments, lighting, furniture, décor, and other interior elements.
- Apply colour theory to create suitable and coordinated colour palettes.
- Prepare Mood Boards, material specifications, BOQs, and design presentations.
- Ensure designs are practical, accurate, and suitable for site execution.

Client Handling & Communication

- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, budget, and design expectations.
- Present design concepts, 2D drawings, 3D views, material options, and revisions to clients.
- Maintain regular and timely communication with clients throughout the project.
- Take client feedback and incorporate approved changes accurately.
- Share designs, drawings, revisions, and required documents within committed timelines.
- Provide timely updates regarding design progress, approvals, and project requirements.




- Handle client concerns professionally and ensure high client satisfaction.
- Build robust client relationships and encourage repeat business and referrals.

Lead Generation & Business Development

- Generate potential leads through client references, networking, site visits, direct outreach, social media, and other channels.
- Identify new residential and commercial interior design opportunities.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design discussions to convert enquiries into projects.
- Follow up with prospective clients and support the conversion of leads into business.
- Contribute to assigned lead generation and business targets.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, repeat projects, and referrals.

Site & Project Coordination

- Conduct regular project site visits as required.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, site teams, and project teams.
- Monitor site execution to ensure designs, dimensions, materials, and detailing are implemented correctly.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to resolve design and execution-related issues.
- Ensure all drawings and design documents are accurate, complete, and ready for execution.
- Manage design tasks and ensure timely completion and delivery of assigned work.

Eligibility

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in Interior Design.
- Practical experience with AutoCAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Corona Renderer, D5 Render, and/or Revit.
- Experience in residential and commercial interior projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of interior detailing, materials, colour theory, space planning, and site execution.
- Good client communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in lead generation or converting interior design enquiries into projects will be an advantage.
- Portfolio of interior design projects is preferred.
- Willingness to travel for project site visits.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
