Minimum Qualification : Diploma in Civil Engineering
Total Qualified Experience : Minimum 10 years
Experience in Highway projects : Minimum 5 years in preparation of BOQ, Rate Analysis etc. for highway / infrastructure projects.
Experience in Similar Capacity : As Quantity Surveyor / Documentation Expert in at least 2 Highway Road Projects.
Responsibilities : His main responsibility will be to keep the project on time and budgeting so the project avoids time and cost overrun. He will ensure that the construction cost is managed as efficiently as possible. The quantity surveyor will provide cash flow data to the employer so that the employer can arrange the finance needed for each stage of the project. The quantity surveyor will also assess cost effects when changes to the project occur, such as delays, variations etc
