About the Role

Thandora is looking for an experienced and technically solid Senior Graphic Designer who can handle creative design as well as production-ready artwork for the signage and printing industry.

For this position, CorelDRAW expertise is the most important requirement. The candidate's designation and salary package will be determined primarily based on their practical proficiency, speed, accuracy, and overall expertise in CorelDRAW.

Candidates with previous experience in the signage, large-format printing, digital printing, advertising, fabrication, branding, or related industries will be given strong preference.

Key Requirements

- Advanced / Expert-level proficiency in CorelDRAW is mandatory.
- Excellent understanding of vector design, layouts, typography, colours, sizing and print-ready artwork.
- Ability to create and modify designs quickly without compromising quality.
- Strong knowledge of preparing files for actual production and fabrication.
- Ability to understand client requirements and convert them into practical, visually appealing designs.
- Experience in handling multiple design projects and production deadlines.
- Good understanding of dimensions, scaling, bleed, cutting paths, colour modes and output requirements.
- Ability to coordinate with production and execution teams to ensure designs are practically manufacturable.
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or other design software will be an added advantage.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates who have worked in any of the following industries will be preferred:

- Signage manufacturing
- Digital / Large-format printing
- UV printing
- Latex / Eco-solvent printing
- Vinyl and sticker production
- Acrylic signage and fabrication
- LED signage
- Advertising / Branding agencies
- Printing presses or related production environments

CorelDRAW Expertise – Key Selection Criteria





CorelDRAW proficiency will be the primary factor in our selection and salary assessment.

We are particularly looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

- Excellent command over CorelDRAW tools and shortcuts
- Fast and accurate artwork creation
- Complex vector artwork handling
- Logo recreation and vectorisation
- Print and cut file preparation
- Signage artwork development
- Large-format artwork preparation
- Accurate sizing and production layouts
- Efficient file management
- Ability to troubleshoot artwork before production

Candidates may be required to complete a practical CorelDRAW skill assessment as part of the selection process.

Experience

Senior-level experience preferred.

Applicants with strong hands-on experience in the signage or printing industry will have an advantage over candidates with purely creative or social-media design backgrounds.
