CCTV & Surveillance Technician

We are looking for a skilled and responsible CCTV & Surveillance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have practical field experience in CCTV installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

The candidate should be able to work independently, identify problems, and complete installation and service work properly with minimum supervision.

Experience in biometric systems, home automation, networking, and basic electrical work will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, test, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems.
- Carry out CCTV installation for homes, offices, shops, commercial buildings, and other sites.
- Perform CCTV servicing, troubleshooting, and fault correction.
- Diagnose camera, DVR/NVR, power supply, network, and connectivity issues.
- Install and terminate CCTV cables and carry out proper cable laying, dressing, and routing.
- Configure DVR/NVR systems, cameras, remote viewing, mobile applications, and related software.
- Troubleshoot software and configuration-related CCTV issues.
- Conduct regular maintenance and servicing of existing surveillance systems.
- Install and configure biometric attendance and access-control systems.
- Assist with home automation system installation and troubleshooting.
- Perform basic electrical work related to CCTV and security-system installations.
- Follow proper safety procedures while working at customer sites.




- Communicate professionally with customers and explain basic system operation.
- Prepare service reports and update the team regarding completed work and technical issues.

Required Skills

- Good practical knowledge of CCTV installation and servicing.
- Ability to troubleshoot CCTV hardware, software, networking, and connectivity problems.
- Knowledge of DVR, NVR, IP cameras, analog cameras, PoE, and basic networking.
- Ability to do cable laying, termination, testing, and fault identification.
- Ability to configure CCTV systems and mobile/remote viewing.
- Basic knowledge of LAN networking, IP addresses, routers, and switches.
- Knowledge of biometric systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of home automation systems is an advantage.
- Basic electrical knowledge is required.
- Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and understand electrical connections.
- Positive communication and customer-handling skills.
- Must be capable of working independently and taking responsibility for assigned jobs.

Qualifications & Experience

- ITI / Diploma / Technical qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Networking, or a related field is preferred.
- Practical experience in CCTV/security-system installation and servicing preferred.
- Candidates with strong practical knowledge and relevant field experience may also be considered.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a technician who is hands-on, technically capable, responsible, and willing to solve problems independently.

The candidate should be comfortable travelling to customer locations and handling installation and service assignments from start to completion.
