Role Description:

The Factory Manager will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end factory operations including production, dispatch, inventory, and manpower management. The role ensures timely availability of materials for ongoing infrastructure projects such as Metro, Bridges, Expressways, and other large-scale developments while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Management

Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities for precast, fabrication, or construction materials to meet project timelines.

2. Dispatch & Logistics Management

Oversee vehicle dispatch and material movement to project sites, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

3. Manpower Management

Supervise factory staff, operators, and labor; allocate workforce efficiently and maintain discipline.

4. Quality Control

Ensure all materials meet required engineering and quality standards; minimize defects and rework.

5. Inventory & Stores Management





Maintain stock levels of raw materials and finished goods; coordinate with procurement for timely supply.

6. Machinery & Maintenance

Ensure proper functioning of machines; plan preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and downtime.

7. Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to safety norms, PPE usage, and compliance with industrial regulations.

8. Project Coordination

Coordinate with site teams to align production with project requirements and timelines.

9. Cost Control & Efficiency

Monitor production costs and improve operational efficiency to reduce wastage.

10. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain reports on production, dispatch, inventory, and workforce; update management regularly.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications:

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil / Production Engineering (mandatory)
- MBA in Operations (preferred)

Experience:

- Minimum 5–10 years in factory / manufacturing operations
- Experience in construction, precast, or infrastructure industry preferred

Industry Knowledge:

- Robust understanding of construction materials, fabrication, or precast systems
- Knowledge of site requirements and dispatch coordination

Skills:

- Strong leadership and team management
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of production planning and logistics
- Basic proficiency in MS Office / ERP systems
- Good communication and coordination skills
