· Purchase Manager in managing the procurement of goods, equipment, and services required for smooth club operations. The role involves sourcing vendors, monitoring inventory levels, negotiating prices, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and maintaining accurate purchasing records while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
· Key Responsibilities
· Assist in planning and executing purchasing activities for the club.
· Source and evaluate suppliers for food & beverages, housekeeping materials, sports equipment, maintenance items, and office supplies.
· Prepare and process purchase orders as per department requirements.
· Compare quotations and negotiate prices, quality, and delivery schedules with vendors.
· Maintain supplier database.
· Track deliveries and ensure timely receipt of materials.
· Coordinate with departments such as F&B;, housekeeping, maintenance, and accounts regarding procurement needs.
· Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock control to avoid shortages or overstocking.
· Verify invoices and ensure proper documentation before forwarding to accounts for payment.
· Ensure compliance with club purchasing policies and procedures.
· Maintain purchase records,
reports, and documentation for audits.
· Qualifications
· Diploma or certification in Procurement/Supply Chain Management or related field.
Experience & Qualification
· 5–10 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain, preferably in hospitality, clubs, hotels, or restaurants.
· Strong vendor negotiation, sourcing, inventory management, cost control, budgeting, procurement procedures, and documentation skills, with basic accounting knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel and purchasing software.
