Somatheeram Ayurvedic Hospital & Yoga Centre is looking for an experienced and guest-focused Senior Guest Relation Executive to lead guest relations and ensure exceptional personalized experiences throughout the guest journey. The ideal candidate should possess a Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field, with 5–7 years of relevant experience in guest relations, front office operations, or customer service, preferably in a luxury hotel, resort, or wellness retreat.

The candidate should demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise and mentor the Guest Relations team while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome guests in a warm, friendly, and personalized manner, using guest names whenever appropriate.
- Personally attend to VIPs, repeat guests, long-stay guests, and guests with special requirements.
- Build and maintain strong guest relationships to enhance satisfaction, loyalty, and overall experience.
- Review communication logs, notice boards, expected arrivals, due-outs, and departure schedules at the beginning of each shift.
- Review arrival lists and VIP bookings to ensure accurate room allocations, amenities, correspondence, and special requests.
- Coordinate and monitor guest birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions, ensuring timely arrangements and personalized celebrations.
- Ensure proper follow-up of VIP and special guest arrangements, including required transfers and other services.
- Maintain appropriate coverage at the VIP room and lobby desk and ensure smooth allocation of daily responsibilities.
- Liaise closely with Housekeeping, F&B;, Front Office,



and Ayurveda departments to ensure smooth coordination and productive guest service.
- Maintain an effective repeat guest history system and ensure accurate guest preference profiles and records.
- Handle guest complaints, queries, and service recovery independently, ensuring satisfactory resolution and timely follow-up with the Front Office Manager.
- Ensure all guest requests are followed up and completed within the expected timeframe.
- Allocate daily responsibilities, supervise team members, and monitor team performance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure smooth and accurate handling of Guest Satisfaction Tracking Survey forms and follow up on guest feedback.
- Promote in-house facilities, services, and ongoing events through appropriate up-selling and guest engagement techniques.
- Maintain accurate guest records, preference profiles, complaint logs, and service recovery reports.
- Monitor TripAdvisor and Google Reviews regularly and ensure guests receive appropriate review communication.
- Maintain the highest standards of personal grooming, hygiene, uniform, professional conduct, and ensure the name badge is worn at all times.
- Ensure consistent delivery of personalized service and uphold the organization's standards of guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence.
