Reporting To: Fabrication / QA Supervisor

Job Purpose:

To carry out grinding, surface finishing, and edge preparation of fabricated components.

Key Responsibilities:

 Perform grinding, beveling, and cleaning of weld joints before and after welding.

 Handle hand grinders, bench grinders, and pneumatic tools safely.

 Ensure smoothness, correct dimensions, and burr-free edges.

 Assist welders and fitters in joint preparation and finishing.

 Maintain grinding tools and replace worn-out discs as needed.

 Follow safety protocols related to sparks, eye protection, and PPE.

Qualifications & Experience:

 ITI / 10th pass with relevant shop-floor experience.

 1–5 years’ experience in heavy fabrication or welding support.





Skills:

Knowledge of grinding tools, abrasives, and surface finishing methods.

Site Facilities

 Accommodation: In employee’s scope.

 Travel from to Site: Quess will pay train / bus tickets only for selected candidates.

 Food: Available at a nominal charge at Site location:

o Breakfast: ₹3 per day

o Lunch: ₹20 per day

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
