Primary Focus: Leadership Talent Identification, Engagement & Onboarding

1. Role Purpose

Vandanam Trust is looking for a Volunteer – Human Resource Associate who can work closely with the Senior Management Team to identify, approach, engage, and support the onboarding of exceptionally accomplished leadership talent.

This is not a conventional HR recruitment role.

The core responsibility is to help Vandanam Trust build a strong leadership ecosystem by connecting with individuals who have demonstrated significant achievement, credibility, expertise, and leadership in their respective industries and who are also socially conscious and driven by a larger purpose beyond personal success.

The ideal volunteer will be able to recognize exceptional people, understand what motivates senior leaders, initiate meaningful conversations, and build long-term relationships on behalf of the Trust.

2. What You Will Work On

A. Leadership Talent Identification

- Research and identify highly accomplished professionals, entrepreneurs, academicians, scientists, social leaders, educators, creators, and industry experts.
- Build a high-quality leadership talent pipeline aligned with Vandanam Trust's mission.
- Identify individuals with proven excellence + social consciousness + willingness to contribute to meaningful change.
- Map potential leaders across relevant sectors and areas of expertise.

B. Leadership Outreach

- Develop personalized approaches to senior and accomplished professionals.
- Initiate conversations through appropriate professional channels.
- Communicate the vision, purpose, and larger social impact of Vandanam Trust clearly.
- Follow up professionally and consistently without being transactional or sales-oriented.

C. Senior Management Support

- Work directly with the Senior Management Team on leadership hiring/onboarding initiatives.
- Maintain a structured database of prospective leadership talent.
- Track conversations, responses, follow-ups, interest levels, and next steps.
- Coordinate meetings between shortlisted leadership candidates and Senior Management.
- Prepare concise candidate profiles and background summaries before leadership discussions.

D. Leadership Onboarding

- Support the Senior Management Team throughout the onboarding process.
- Coordinate documentation, communication, meetings, and follow-ups.
- Ensure that prospective leaders clearly understand the organization's mission, expectations, role, and contribution opportunities.
- Maintain a professional and relationship-focused onboarding experience.

E. Talent Intelligence

- Continuously research emerging and established leaders in relevant fields.
- Understand industry backgrounds,



skilled achievements, areas of influence, and potential contribution.
- Help Senior Management identify who should be approached, why they matter, and how Vandanam Trust can meaningfully engage them.

The volunteer will be expected to contribute toward measurable outcomes such as:

- A continuously growing Leadership Talent Pipeline.
- High-quality research and profiling of potential leaders.
- Meaningful outreach to selected leadership prospects.




- Consistent follow-up and relationship management.
- Qualified leadership conversations scheduled with Senior Management.
- Smooth coordination of leadership onboarding.
- Accurate and up-to-date talent records.
- Regular reporting on outreach, engagement, pipeline movement, and outcomes.

The emphasis is on quality conversations and successful leadership engagement—not simply the number of profiles collected.

7. Time Commitment
2 hours per day

This role is intentionally designed as a focused, high-impact volunteer engagement.

The expectation is not to work long hours. The expectation is to use two focused hours with discipline, intelligence, research, communication, and measurable execution.
