Job Title: Logistics Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a Logistics & Transportation Executive to manage end-to-end transport operations, including lifting raw materials and biomass as well as dispatching ethanol, DDGS, and other by-products. The role requires strong transporter coordination, negotiation skills, and the ability to handle on-ground logistics challenges while ensuring smooth supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Transport Operations

a. Arrange and monitor vehicles for movement of raw materials, finished goods, and machinery.

b. Coordinate with procurement, production, and dispatch teams for uninterrupted supply flow.

c. Track vehicle movements and resolve field-level logistics issues.

2. Transporter & Vendor Management

a. Build and maintain a strong transporter network across Gujarat, Maharashtra, and MP.

b. Negotiate freight rates and manage transportation costs effectively.

c. Ensure transporter compliance with company and safety guidelines.

3. Delivery & Shipment Documentation

a. Track delivery status and maintain shipment records including schedules and logistics details.

b. Process delivery documents such as receipts, invoices, and packing lists.

Coordinate with logistics teams to resolve discrepancies or delays.

4. Documentation & Compliance

a. Prepare and verify transport documentation including e-way bills, challans, GRNs, and weighment slips.

b. Maintain accurate logistics records for audits and reporting.

c. Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements related to transport operations.

5. Coordination & Reporting

a. Provide updates on vehicle status, delivery timelines, and logistics performance.

b. Maintain Excel-based tracking reports for shipments and freight costs.

c. Coordinate with internal departments to improve dispatch efficiency.

Requirements

·Graduate in any discipline; Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain preferred.

·2 to 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination.

·Robust on-ground transporter network and negotiation skills.

·Proficiency in MS Excel and logistics documentation processes.
