Role -Product Manager, Behavioral Health
Location - Hyderabad
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Product Manager based in India to serve as a strong second product leader. This role is designed to add product-management capacity, strengthen continuity through disciplined knowledge sharing and documentation, and develop into a product-operations and customer-enablement role as org. begins onboarding customers.
What You Will DoProduct Execution & Delivery
- Partner with the Lead Product Manager to translate product strategy and customer needs into clear epics, features, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
- Own portions of the backlog and product roadmap, including refinement, prioritization support, sprint readiness, release planning, and dependency tracking.
- Work closely with engineering, design, Quality Assurance (QA), and implementation teams through development, testing, release, and post-release validation.
Behavioral Health Domain & Market Insight
- Apply first-hand knowledge of U.S. behavioral health EHR and RCM products to identify proven workflow patterns, unmet needs, adoption barriers, and opportunities for differentiation.
- Help define intuitive clinical, administrative, and billing workflows for behavioral health providers.
Product Continuity & Knowledge Management
- Build and maintain durable product documentation, including workflow maps, decision logs, requirements, product definitions, release notes, and rationale behind key choices.
- Develop enough breadth across the platform to independently answer product questions, lead workstreams, and maintain execution continuity when needed.
Customer & Product Operations (as Organization scales)
- Participate in customer discovery,
implementation planning, configuration decisions, training, and go-live readiness.
- Help triage customer-reported issues, distinguish product gaps from configuration or training needs, and coordinate resolution across teams.
- Create a structured feedback loop from customers and implementation teams into the roadmap and backlog.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Direct, hands-on experience working on an American behavioral health Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) platform while based in India. This is the most key qualification for the role.
- Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to work effectively with India- and U.S.-based teams and maintain regular overlap with U.S. Eastern Time.
- Relevant experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, implementation, or product operations within healthcare technology.
- Strong understanding of the core clinical, administrative, and billing workflows used by U.S. behavioral health providers.
- Ability to translate product and customer needs into clear workflows, requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering and QA teams.
Preferred Experience
- Experience owning a healthcare product, module, or major workflow from requirements through release.
- Experience with customer implementation, product operations, training, issue resolution, or customer onboarding.
- Additional knowledge of behavioral health billing, Medicaid, integrations, or data migration.
