Civil Engineer – Development Projects

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to support the planning, execution, and management of residential and commercial real estate development projects. The candidate will be involved in project coordination, site execution, quality control, cost monitoring, contractor management, and compliance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor construction activities at project sites.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Review drawings, BOQs, estimates, and project specifications.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
- Ensure quality standards and safety regulations are followed.
- Track material requirements and control project costs.
- Verify contractor bills and work completion reports.
- Assist in obtaining project approvals and statutory compliances.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare project status reports.
- Support management in planning future residential and commercial developments.





Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in residential and/or commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project execution.
- Experience in quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, and cost control.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Valuable coordination and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and project reporting tools.

Preferred Experience

- High-rise residential or commercial building projects.
- Real estate developer environment.
- Knowledge of local building regulations and approval processes.
- Exposure to project budgeting and contractor management.
