Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Radiology Typist to prepare and type radiology reports from dictated notes/voice recordings. The candidate should have good typing speed, excellent English communication skills, and the ability to accurately handle medical terminology and confidential patient information.

Key Responsibilities

- Type and format radiology reports accurately from dictated reports.
- Prepare reports for X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, and other imaging studies.
- Ensure correct spelling, grammar, medical terminology, and report formatting.
- Review reports for typographical and transcription errors before submission.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records and medical information.
- Coordinate with radiologists and the radiology department for report corrections or clarifications.
- Complete assigned reports within required turnaround times.
- Maintain proper records and follow hospital/clinic documentation procedures.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- 12th pass / Graduate preferred.
- Previous experience in medical transcription or radiology typing is preferred.
- Good knowledge of medical and radiology terminology.




- Good English grammar, spelling, and listening skills.
- Minimum typing speed of approximately 35–40 WPM with good accuracy.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Word or hospital/EMR software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Experience

0–2 years: Freshers with good typing and English skills may be considered.
2+ years: Experience in radiology/medical transcription preferred.
