The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the complete financial operations of the company. This includes payroll and salary slip processing, financial planning and strategy, cost management, budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and cash flow management. The ideal candidate will act as a key advisor to leadership on financial matters and ensure the organization's financial health and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll & Salary Management
- Prepare and process monthly salary slips for all employees accurately and on time
- Ensure correct calculation of salaries, deductions, bonuses, incentives, and reimbursements
- Manage statutory compliance related to payroll (PF, ESI, TDS, PT, etc., as applicable)
- Maintain payroll records and resolve employee payroll queries
2. Financial Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making
- Conduct financial forecasting and scenario planning
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth
3. Budgeting
- Prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly budgets in coordination with department heads
- Monitor budget vs. actual performance and report variances
- Recommend corrective actions for budget deviations
- Support departments in budget planning and resource allocation
4. Costing & Cost Control
- Analyze and manage product/service/project costing
- Monitor operational costs and identify areas for cost reduction
- Prepare cost-benefit analyses for new projects or investments
- Implement cost control measures across departments
5. Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L;,
balance sheet, cash flow)
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits
- File timely tax returns and other statutory filings (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.)
6. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- Monitor daily cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity for operations
- Manage banking relationships, loans, and credit facilities
- Oversee accounts receivable and payable to optimize working capital
7. Team & Process Management
- Supervise and mentor the finance/accounts team
- Streamline financial processes and implement best practices
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all financial transactions
- Evaluate and recommend financial software/ERP tools for efficiency
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Hands-on experience with payroll processing and salary slip generation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong command over MS Excel and accounting/ERP software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, etc.)
- Positive communication and leadership abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field (MBA Finance / CA / CMA preferred)
- Prior experience in payroll processing, budgeting, and financial strategy is essential
- Experience in the relevant industry is a plus
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
