Job Summary- We are looking for an experienced Team Leader – Plantation & Horticulture to manage and supervise plantation, casualty replacement, landscaping and maintenance activities for an NHAI highway plantation project. The candidate will be responsible for field-level execution, team management, plantation monitoring and coordination with project/NHAI officials.

Key Responsibilities -
Lead and supervise plantation and maintenance activities at the project site.

Plan and monitor plantation,



casualty replacement and field preparation activities.

Supervise irrigation, manure/fertilizer application and plant protection.

Monitor plant health, survival rate and growth.

Identify dead or damaged plants and ensure timely replacement.

Supervise field workers and Team Members.

Conduct site inspections and monitor day-to-day project progress.

Maintain plantation records, progress reports and site documentation.

Coordinate with NHAI officials and other project stakeholders.

Ensure work is carried out according to the approved plantation plan and applicable NHAI guidelines.

Assist in selection of suitable plant species according to site and agroclimatic conditions. Monitor tree guards, fencing and other plant-protection measures.

Ensure proper maintenance of existing plantation throughout the project period

Prepare periodic reports and provide updates to the project management team. Educational Qualification

Graduation/Post-Graduation in Forestry, Agriculture, Horticulture or another relevant discipline.

Experience Minimum 3 years to 10 years of experience in plantation and allied activities. Experience in highway plantation, landscaping, horticulture or similar projects will be preferred.
