Trikon Digital is a UK-focused healthcare technology company developing secure digital solutions for healthcare professionals, clinics and patients, with a focus on clinical workflows, practice management, patient engagement and AI-enabled healthcare technology.

We are looking for an experienced Python / FastAPI Backend Developer to join Trikon Digital and play a key role in the major technology upgrade of our existing UK healthcare software product.

This is not a project starting from a blank concept. We already have an existing healthcare product, clinical workflows and functionality. We are modernising and rebuilding the product into a new-generation healthcare platform using a up-to-date, scalable architecture.

The upgraded platform will include a Doctor Portal, Patient Portal, Admin Portal and iOS/Android Patient App, supporting private medical practices and aesthetic/cosmetic clinics.

This is a key technical position. We are particularly interested in candidates who understand backend architecture, healthcare data, security, AI integration and scalable SaaS development, rather than developers whose experience is limited to basic Python applications.

Role

You will be responsible for developing and helping architect the backend of the new platform, including:

- Python / FastAPI backend
- REST API architecture
- PostgreSQL database architecture

Essential Technical Skills

Experience with healthcare interoperability is highly desirable, particularly:

- Clinical terminology and coding systems
- Healthcare APIs
- EHR / EMR integrations

Security & Healthcare Data

Because the platform processes sensitive healthcare information, strong security awareness is essential.

UK Healthcare / Medical Software

Experience with regulated healthcare software would be particularly valuable.

- Can work closely with React / React Native developers
- Can review and improve existing workflows
- Is comfortable using modern AI-assisted development tools
- Can work independently in a remote environment

- Is interested in building a long-term healthcare technology product

Employment

Full time, long-term position

This is not a short-term freelance assignment.

Working pattern: 6 days per week, working to UK business hours / UK time.

Candidates must be comfortable working remotely from India while aligning their working hours with the UK-based team.

Salary

₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month, depending on experience, architecture knowledge and technical ability.

Candidates with particularly strong Python/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, AWS, healthcare or FHIR experience may be considered separately.
