Position: Associate Tech Specialist / Tech Specialist
Role: Senior Database Administrator (DBA) – MySQL & MS SQL Server
Experience - 4 to 9 Years
DBA - excellent hands on with MSSQL HA and Mysql Replication and management of these solutions.
Work Timing: Person needs to work on night shift from 8 PM IST to 5 AM IST, there is no deviation in this as of now.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator with strong hands-on experience in MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database availability, performance, monitoring, maintenance, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting across production environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor database health, performance, availability, and capacity using appropriate monitoring tools.

- Perform routine database administration, maintenance, upgrades, and optimization.

- Manage and troubleshoot MySQL replication and high-availability environments.

- Manage MS SQL Server High Availability configurations and troubleshoot related issues.

- Perform and validate database backups and restores, ensuring data recoverability.

- Analyze database performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve stability, scalability, and performance.





- Troubleshoot database incidents and provide timely resolution for business-critical issues.

- Maintain database security, configuration, documentation, and operational standards.

- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and application teams to resolve database-related issue

Required Skills & Experience

- 4+ years of hands-on DBA experience in production environments.

- Solid experience with MySQL and MS SQL Server administration.

- Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server High Availability.

- Strong experience with MySQL Replication, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

- Good understanding of database backup, restore, recovery, and disaster-recovery practices.

- Experience with database monitoring and performance-tuning tools.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve production database issues.

- Availability

- Expected availability between 8:00 PM IST to 5 AM IST

Ability to respond to and support business-critical database issues outside regular hours, when required.
