About the Role

The Academic Counsellor will be responsible for guiding students and parents regarding academic programs, courses, admission processes, and suitable learning opportunities. The role requires strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to understand students' academic needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents about available academic courses and programs.
- Understand students' educational requirements, goals, and concerns.
- Explain course structure, fees, schedules, admission procedures, and other relevant details.
- Follow up with prospective students and parents through phone calls and other communication channels.
- Maintain regular communication with students and ensure a positive counselling experience.
- Assist in the admission and enrolment process.
- Maintain records of enquiries, follow-ups, and admissions.
- Coordinate with the academic and management teams when required.
- Achieve assigned counselling and admission targets.
- Build positive relationships with students and parents.

Area of Work

The Academic Counsellor will primarily work in the following areas:

Student Counselling: Understanding students' academic needs and helping them choose suitable courses.

Parent Communication: Providing parents with clear information about courses, academic support, fees, and learning programs.

Admissions: Converting enquiries into admissions by providing proper guidance and timely follow-ups.





Student Support: Addressing basic academic and course-related queries and coordinating with the concerned team when necessary.

Follow-Up & Relationship Management: Maintaining regular contact with prospective and existing students.

Scope of Work

The role provides an chance to work across student counselling, admissions, education services, communication, and relationship management. The selected candidate will gain practical experience in understanding student requirements, guiding learners, managing enquiries, and contributing to the growth of an educational organisation.
