Job Summary

We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Foundational Stage to support the development and review of high-quality educational content for young learners. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of foundational stage education, early childhood care and education (ECCE), NEP 2020, and NCF-FS.

School teachers with hands-on classroom experience in pre-primary, nursery, KG, or early primary grades will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, review, and validate educational content for the Foundational Stage.
- Ensure content is aligned with NEP 2020, NCF-FS, ECCE, and Foundational Literacy & Numeracy (FLN) objectives.
- Create and review age-appropriate, engaging, activity-based, and experiential learning content.
- Review textbooks, workbooks, worksheets, activities, assessments, and teacher resources.
- Ensure content is child-centric, pedagogically appropriate, accurate, and easy to implement in classrooms.
- Provide subject and pedagogical inputs to authors, editors, designers, and the academic team.
- Suggest innovative classroom activities, teaching-learning strategies, and learning outcomes.
- Review content from a teacher’s perspective and ensure its practical applicability in real classroom situations.
- Support the development of teacher manuals, activity resources, worksheets,



and supplementary learning materials.
- Stay updated with changes and developments related to NEP 2020, NCF-FS, ECCE, and Foundational Education.

Requirements

- Graduate/postgraduate degree in education, early childhood education, child development, or a relevant discipline.
- Strong understanding of NEP 2020, NCF-FS, ECCE, and Foundational Stage pedagogy.
- Practical classroom experience with young learners will be highly preferred.
- School teachers from pre-primary, nursery, KG, or early primary levels are ideal candidates.
- Experience in curriculum development, educational content development, textbook publishing, or academic content review will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning methodologies.
- Good communication, content-review, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with academic, editorial, content, and design teams.

A school teacher or education professional with practical experience in the foundational stage, robust pedagogical understanding, and a passion for developing meaningful and engaging learning resources for young children.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
