Junior Accountant – Real Estate Industry

Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Accountant with 2–5 years of experience to handle day-to-day accounting activities for a real estate company. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of Tally, GST, bank reconciliation, purchase/sales entries, and basic accounting.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/Accounting Software.
- Handle cash and bank transactions and maintain proper records.
- Prepare and maintain purchase and sales invoices.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Handle basic GST-related accounting and documentation.
- Maintain accounts payable and receivable records.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain receivable/payable statements.
- Assist in monthly closing and preparation of basic financial reports.
- Maintain proper documentation of bills, vouchers, invoices and other accounting records.
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding bills, payments and accounting-related queries.
- Perform other routine accounting tasks as required.

Required Skills

- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Good working knowledge of Tally.
- Basic knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel.
- Understanding of journal entries, ledgers, debit/credit,



BRS and reconciliation.
- Good numerical and communication skills.
- Candidates with real estate/construction industry experience will be preferred.

Education

B.Com / M.Com / equivalent accounting qualification preferred.
