Position: Quality Analyst – Precast Lab
Location: Precast Manufacturing Plant
Reporting To: Quality Manager / Plant Head
Experience: 2–5 Years in Precast / Concrete / Construction Materials Testing

1. Job Purpose

To ensure the quality and compliance of raw materials, concrete mixes, precast products and laboratory testing processes through systematic inspection, testing, documentation and corrective actions as per applicable IS Standards, approved specifications and company quality procedures.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Raw Material Testing

- Conduct testing and inspection of cement, aggregates, sand, admixtures, water and other incoming materials.
- Verify material test certificates and specifications.
- Maintain records of raw-material test results and approvals.
- Identify and report non-conforming materials.

B. Concrete & Mix Quality

- Conduct concrete workability/slump, temperature and other routine tests.
- Prepare and test concrete cube/cylinder specimens as applicable.
- Monitor compressive strength results and maintain strength records.
- Assist in mix design, trial mixes and optimization of concrete mixes.
- Monitor batching and concrete production parameters in coordination with the plant team.

C. Precast Product Quality

- Inspect precast products for dimensions, appearance, surface defects, cracks, honeycombing and other quality parameters.
- Verify products against approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Carry out dimensional and physical checks using appropriate measuring instruments.




- Ensure proper identification, traceability and release of tested products.

D. Laboratory Management

- Maintain laboratory equipment, testing machines and measuring instruments.
- Ensure timely calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Maintain testing schedules, laboratory registers and test reports.
- Follow laboratory safety, housekeeping and 5S requirements.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of samples.

E. Documentation & Reporting

- Prepare daily and periodic laboratory test reports.
- Maintain material inspection reports, cube test registers, calibration records and product inspection records.
- Maintain traceability of samples from raw material to finished product.
- Immediately report abnormal test results and quality deviations to the Quality Manager.
- Support preparation of quality reports, NCRs and corrective/preventive action records.

F. Quality Compliance

- Ensure testing is carried out as per applicable IS Codes, approved specifications, project requirements and company SOPs.
- Support internal and external quality audits.
- Ensure implementation of Quality Control Plans and Inspection & Test Plans.
- Coordinate with production, engineering and site teams for resolution of quality issues.5. Required Qualifications

Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering, preferably with specialization or practical exposure in Concrete Technology / Construction Materials.

Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience in a concrete, precast, RMC, infrastructure or construction-material laboratory.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
