We are looking for a skilled VMC Setter & Programmer to program, set up, and operate CNC Vertical Machining Centers with Fanuc and Siemens controllers. The role involves developing CNC programs, optimizing machining processes, setting up machines for production, ensuring component quality, and supporting production operators.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and optimize CNC programs for VMC machines using Fanuc and Siemens controllers.
- Develop machining processes based on engineering drawings and component specifications.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
- Perform complete machine setup, including fixture setting, tool setting, work offsets, and program verification.
- Conduct trial runs and first-piece inspections before releasing jobs for production.
- Optimize cycle times while maintaining quality and tool life.
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues.
- Modify and improve existing CNC programs to increase productivity.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and machining tolerances.
- Use precision measuring instruments to verify component dimensions.




- Support and guide machine operators during production.
- Maintain CNC program backups and documentation.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain positive housekeeping (5S).

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Fanuc and Siemens CNC programming.
- Proficiency in VMC machine setup and operation.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.;
- Knowledge of cutting tools, toolpath optimization, work offsets, and machining parameters.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to improve machining efficiency and reduce cycle time.
- Good communication and team coordination skills.

Qualifications

- ITI, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related trade.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
