Job Summary

Narayana e-Techno School, Karnal, is looking for a responsible and organized Librarian to manage the school library and support students and teachers in accessing appropriate learning resources. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of library management, strong organizational skills, and a passion for creating a positive reading environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the school library.
- Maintain and organize books, journals, reference materials, and digital resources.
- Issue and return books and maintain accurate library records.
- Assist students and teachers in locating suitable books and learning resources.
- Develop and maintain an organized and student-friendly library environment.
- Maintain records of new books, damaged books, missing books, and stock.
- Support reading programs, book-related activities, and library events.




- Recommend appropriate books and resources based on students' age and academic requirements.
- Coordinate with teachers and academic teams for curriculum-related resources.
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of library materials.

Eligibility & Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline; BLIS/MLIS or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Prior experience as a school librarian will be preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with library management systems.
- Ability to interact positively with students and teachers.
