About the Role:

We are looking for a responsible, caring and reliable Home Care Nurse / Patient Caregiver to provide full-time care for a bedridden elderly patient at our home.

The role involves day-to-day personal care, monitoring the patient's condition, assisting with basic medical/nursing requirements and ensuring his comfort, hygiene and safety.

This is a home-based position, and the caregiver will be required to stay with the patient at the residence.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide attentive and compassionate day-to-day care to the patient.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and other personal hygiene needs.
- Help with changing clothes, bed sheets, diapers/underpads and maintaining cleanliness.
- Assist with feeding and maintaining proper hydration as required.
- Help with repositioning/turning the patient regularly to maintain comfort and prevent bed sores.
- Monitor and report changes in the patient's general condition, such as fever, breathing difficulty, unusual movements, swelling or other concerns.
- Assist with prescribed medications as instructed by the family/doctor.
- Assist with basic nursing procedures within the caregiver's training and competency.
- Maintain cleanliness of the patient's room and care-related items.
- Coordinate with family members and inform them promptly about any concerns.
- Provide companionship and ensure the patient's comfort and dignity.

Requirements

- Nursing course,



diploma or healthcare-related training will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with relevant patient-care experience are preferred.
- Freshers with suitable nursing/healthcare training are also welcome.
- Should be physically capable of assisting a bedridden patient with repositioning and personal care.
- Must be patient, responsible, trustworthy and compassionate.
- Good communication and willingness to stay with the patient full-time are important.
- Candidates who are comfortable working in a family/home environment are preferred.

Important Information

- This is a home-based, full time position, not a hospital/clinic position.
- The person will be required to stay at the patient's residence and provide full-time care.
- Salary will be ₹28,000–₹30,000 per month, depending on qualifications, skills and suitability.
- Food and stay will be provided along with month paid leaves as required.
- Since this is a privately hired home-care position, formal employment experience/certification letters may not be provided by the family for this role.
