About the Role

Agami is looking for a UI/UX Designer with 2+ years of professional experience and a strong foundation in UI/UX, Visual Design, Interaction Design, or a related design discipline.

This is a purely design-focused role. We are looking for someone who has studied and built their career in design and has hands-on experience creating user-centric digital products.

Candidates whose primary background is software development, engineering, or coding and who have subsequently transitioned into UI/UX Design are not the intended profile for this role.

The ideal candidate should have a strong design portfolio demonstrating excellent visual design, user experience thinking, interaction design, responsive design, and the ability to turn complex requirements into simple, intuitive interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

- Design responsive websites and web applications from concept to final UI.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and design systems.
- Translate business and user requirements into intuitive and visually engaging digital experiences.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders while owning the design direction.
- Apply user-centred design principles throughout the product design process.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and design iterations where required.
- Maintain consistency in UI, interaction patterns, typography, colour, spacing, and visual language across products.




- Create responsive and mobile-first designs for different screen sizes and devices.
- Work on complex web application interfaces and improve existing user experiences.
- Stay updated with current UI/UX, visual design, interaction design, and digital product design trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2+ years of professional experience specifically in UI/UX or Product Design.
- Educational background in Design, UI/UX, Visual Communication, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related design discipline is preferred.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating real-world UI/UX and web application design work.
- Strong understanding of UI design, UX principles, visual hierarchy, typography, colour, spacing, grids, and interaction design.
- Proficiency in Figma and other relevant design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design.
- Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, design systems, and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus, but coding/development skills are not the focus of this role.
- Strong attention to detail and visual design sensibility.
- Ability to independently take ownership of design tasks and manage multiple projects.




- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Important – Design-First Requirement

This position is strictly focused on UI/UX and Product Design.

We are specifically looking for candidates who have a design-first educational and professional background and have developed their expertise through hands-on design work.

We are not looking for profiles where the primary career background is software development, engineering, frontend development, or programming, followed by a transition into UI/UX Design.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate through their portfolio that design is their core professional skill, not an extension of their development role.
