Role Overview
We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with our customers, embedding within their environment to design, build, and deploy tailored solutions on top of the Quantum Heaps platform. This is a hybrid role that blends software engineering, solution architecture, and customer-facing problem-solving — you'll be the technical bridge between what our platform can do and what a specific customer actually needs to succeed.
You'll spend significant time with customers, understanding their workflows, and rapidly building integrations, custom features, and automation that make our CRM indispensable to their business.
Key Responsibilities

- Customer-Embedded Engineering: Work directly and closely with customer teams to understand their business processes, technical environment, and pain points, and translate them into working solutions on the Quantum Heaps platform.
- Rapid Prototyping & Deployment: Build and deploy custom integrations, workflows, and features quickly to solve specific customer problems, often under tight timelines.
- Solution Architecture: Design scalable, maintainable technical solutions that integrate Quantum Heaps with a customer's existing tech stack (data sources, internal tools, third-party systems).
- Hands-On Development: Write production-quality code to build integrations, APIs, scripts, and automations — this is a heavily technical, hands-on role, not purely advisory.
- Feedback Loop to Product:



Act as the voice of the customer back to the Product and Engineering teams, surfacing patterns across deployments that should influence the core product roadmap.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Debug and resolve technical issues quickly during and after deployment, ensuring customer success and platform reliability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure smooth handoffs and long-term customer satisfaction.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of custom solutions, configurations, and integration logic for future reference and scalability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Experience: 2+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Strong Engineering Fundamentals: Proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java) and solid understanding of API design, data modeling, and system integration.
- Integration Expertise: Experience building integrations with third-party systems/APIs, and familiarity with middleware or iPaaS tools is a plus.
- Problem-Solving Under Ambiguity: Comfortable working in fast-paced, undefined environments where requirements evolve as you learn more about the customer's needs.
- Customer-Facing Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and build trust with customers directly.
- Adaptability & Ownership: Willingness to travel/be embedded with customers as needed, and take end-to-end ownership of solutions from design through deployment.
- CRM/SaaS Familiarity (Good to Have): Prior experience working with CRM platforms, RevOps tools, or B2B SaaS products.
- Growth Mindset: Curiosity to learn new domains quickly, since each customer engagement may involve a different industry or use case.

Pay: Up to ₹800,000.00 per year
