JOB SUMMARY:
This position will support various projects in Pricing team and will have following responsibilities:
Individual and Group Product Pricing
Ability to create excel models for pricing and profit testing
Ability to check the work done by the team and spot errors by back of the envelope checks, trend analysis.
Provide technical inputs and ensure robustness of pricing models and Illustrations
Active involvement in finalizing the pricing assumptions and take necessary sign offs
Ability to understand the asset liability matching techniques especially for non-par (savings and protection) business
Understanding of the interest rate derivatives allowed as per regulations and awareness of the use in Indian Insurance Industry
Ability to provide insightful summary of the results of various iteration and sensitivities done during pricing
Comprehensive analysis on various product design aspects in the Pricing Report
Assist the senior pricing actuary in preparing pricing reports, FU and other documents necessary to get internal and IRDA approval
Prepare the ‘File and Use ‘document and reply to IRDA queries




Provide the actuarial assistance to group business team to help provide suitable and competitive quote rates with reasonable margins

Completion of tasks on time and at desired standards including documentation and audit trails
Accuracy of results and comprehensiveness of the pricing model/reports

The ideal candidate should be proactive in taking responsibilities and capable of working effectively in a cross functional team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Graduate
Robust progression of actuarial exams with a minimum of 10-12 exams including CT-5.

MINIMUM/SPECIFICEXPERIENCE:
Pricing experience, awareness of competitive landscape in the Indian Life Insurance market and IRDA regulations
Experience of pricing of products especially non participating products on excel

COMPENSATION RANGE:
Market competitive and based on previous salary, work experienceand actuarial qualification
