Job Description – Stacking Line Crane Operator

Location: D-129, Bulandshahr Bypass Rd, Industrial Area, Bulandshahr Road Industrial Area, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh – 201009
Working Days: 6 days a week
Weekly Off: Sunday (Fixed)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Stacking Line Crane Operator to operate overhead/EOT crane equipment for the safe and efficient movement, handling, and stacking of steel sheets, coils, and finished material within the production area.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate the crane safely for lifting, shifting, and stacking steel materials.
- Handle material received from the production/processing line and stack it as per defined requirements.
- Ensure proper placement, alignment, and safe stacking of finished material.
- Operate crane controls smoothly and accurately to prevent material or equipment damage.
- Inspect crane, hooks, wire ropes, slings, chains, and other lifting accessories before operation.
- Follow prescribed load limits and safe lifting practices at all times.
- Coordinate with machine operators, helpers, production, and quality teams during material movement.
- Ensure that the crane movement area is transparent before lifting or shifting material.
- Report any abnormal noise, malfunction, damage, or safety concern immediately to the supervisor.
- Maintain proper identification and segregation of different materials.
- Prevent damage to sheets, coils, bundles, and other finished products during handling.
- Follow all plant safety rules, PPE requirements,



and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping around the crane and stacking area.
- Assist in maintaining proper production flow by ensuring timely movement of material.
- Maintain basic operational/shift records as required.

Candidate Requirements

- 2–5 years of experience operating EOT/overhead cranes in a steel, manufacturing, or industrial environment preferred.
- Experience in handling steel sheets, coils, bundles, or similar heavy materials will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of crane controls and lifting operations.
- Knowledge of safe load handling and basic lifting accessories.
- Ability to follow signals and instructions from supervisors and designated signalmen.
- Safety-conscious, alert, disciplined, and responsible.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in an industrial environment.
- Relevant crane operator certification/license, where applicable, will be preferred.
