About the Role

We are looking for a creative, energetic and digitally savvy Social Media Executive to manage and grow our social media presence across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and X.

The ideal candidate should understand social media trends, have strong communication skills and be willing to learn content creation, social media marketing and audience growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily social media accounts and publishing schedules.
- Create, curate and publish engaging posts, reels, stories and short-form content.
- Write captions, headlines, hashtags and basic social media copy.
- Monitor trending topics, viral content, hashtags and relevant conversations.
- Assist in developing social media content strategies to increase reach and engagement.
- Coordinate with the content, video and design teams for daily content requirements.
- Monitor social media performance, including views, reach, engagement and follower growth.
- Respond to comments, messages and audience interactions professionally.
- Maintain consistency in brand tone, visual identity and publishing standards.
- Research competitors and identify new content and growth opportunities.




- Stay updated with Instagram, YouTube and other platform algorithms and trends.

Requirements

- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Graduate in any discipline; candidates from Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, English or related fields will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and X.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with an understanding of what makes content engaging.
- Basic knowledge of Canva or other design tools will be an advantage.
- Basic understanding of social media analytics is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced digital newsroom/agency environment.
- Willingness to work on trending and time-sensitive content.
