Position: Cashier

Reports To: Finance Manager / F&B; Manager

Job Purpose

To efficiently manage all cash and digital transactions at The Marque Club, ensuring accurate billing, collection, reconciliation, and maintenance of financial records while providing professional and courteous service to club members and guests.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle cash, credit/debit cards, UPI and other approved payment methods accurately.
- Generate and process bills for F&B; and other club services as applicable.
- Verify billing details, discounts, complimentary items and approved adjustments before accepting payment.
- Maintain accurate records of daily cash collections and transactions.
- Conduct opening and closing cash procedures as per company standards.
- Reconcile cash, card and digital payment collections with the POS system at the end of each shift.
- Report any cash shortage, excess collection or billing discrepancy immediately to the concerned supervisor/manager.
- Ensure all transactions are supported by proper bills and receipts.
- Handle member accounts and ensure charges are posted to the correct member account where applicable.
- Coordinate with F&B;, Front Office and Finance teams for billing and payment-related matters.
- Maintain confidentiality of member information, billing details and financial transactions.




- Ensure compliance with club policies, financial controls and cash-handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter and related work area.
- Provide courteous and professional assistance to members and guests during payment transactions.
- Support Finance and F&B; teams during audits, month-end closing and reconciliation activities.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the reporting manager.

Candidate Profile

- Education: Graduate / Diploma in Commerce, Finance, Hospitality or related field preferred.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience as a Cashier, preferably in a premium hotel, club, restaurant or hospitality workplace.
- Freshers with good numerical ability and communication skills may also be considered.
- Good knowledge of POS systems and basic MS Office/Excel.
- Good numerical and reconciliation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional grooming and a service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
