Senior TesterJob Summary

We are looking for a Senior Tester with strong hands-on experience in end-to-end testing and a deep understanding of product quality.

This role requires someone who takes ownership of quality, collaborates effectively within cross-functional product teams, and actively contributes, not just assigns work. You should be comfortable working in fast-paced environments and be capable of identifying gaps, improving processes, and ensuring high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and drive end-to-end manual testing across multiple features and releases.
- Design, create, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects; work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Developers to clarify requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
- Proactively identify gaps in processes, requirements, or test coverage and suggest and implement improvements.
- Take full ownership of quality outcomes, not just testing activities.
- Mentor and guide testers, ensuring adherence to best practices and improving overall team quality.
- Demonstrate working knowledge and hands-on experience in automation testing to support and enhance QA processes.

Agile & Sprint Ownership

- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies,



including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Create, plan, and manage testing sprints, ensuring explicit prioritization and timely execution of QA activities.
- Align testing timelines with development sprints to ensure smooth and predictable releases.
- Track sprint-level QA progress, identify risks early, and ensure on-time delivery of testing milestones.

AI & Innovation

- Leverage AI tools and platforms to improve testing efficiency, test coverage, and defect detection.
- Identify opportunities to integrate AI into testing workflows, such as:
- Test case generation
- Bug analysis
- Defect prediction
- Bring prior experience of implementing or using AI in testing or QA processes.

Key Skills & Qualifications

- 7–9 years of experience in manual testing.
- Strong expertise in:
- Functional testing
- Regression testing
- Integration testing
- Exploratory testing
- Experience with JIRA, TestRail, or similar test management tools.
- Strong understanding of Agile and sprint-based development.
- Experience planning and managing QA activities within sprints.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to cross-browser and cross-platform testing tools, such as BrowserStack.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing.
