Job Description – Spark EDM Operator

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate Spark EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and tool designs.
- Mount and align electrodes and workpieces correctly.
- Monitor machining parameters and machining progress.
- Check dimensions using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Perform electrode offset and basic machine programming as required.
- Ensure required surface finish and dimensional accuracy.
- Carry out routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain workplace housekeeping.
- Coordinate with Tool Room, CNC, Design, and Quality departments.

Required Skills





- Knowledge of Spark EDM machine operation.
- Understanding of mould and die components.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Basic understanding of tooling materials and machining processes.
- Attention to detail and quality standards.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Tool & Die Making, Machinist, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Experience

- 2 to 3 years

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
