Job Summary:

Responsible for supporting research, product development, testing, and improvement activities for refrigerator products, ensuring product performance, quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support R&D; and Recent Product Development (NPD) projects for refrigerators
- Assist in product design, development, prototyping, testing, and validation
- Work on product performance improvement and energy-efficiency initiatives
- Prepare and maintain BOMs, specifications, drawings, and technical documentation
- Conduct product testing and analyze performance results
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams
- Support engineering changes, design modifications, and product improvements
- Conduct competitor and technology benchmarking
- Assist in troubleshooting technical and product performance issues
- Ensure products meet applicable safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Support cost-reduction, value-engineering, and localization initiatives

Skills Required:

- Good knowledge of refrigeration systems and thermodynamics
- Understanding of compressors, condensers, evaporators, capillary tubes,



refrigerants, and heat exchangers
- Knowledge of refrigerator design, testing, and validation
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of AutoCAD / SolidWorks or similar engineering tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/PLM systems

Qualification & Experience:

- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical / Refrigeration & Air Conditioning / HVAC Engineering
- 2–6 years of experience in R&D;, Product Development, Design, or Refrigeration
- Experience in refrigerator/home appliance manufacturing preferred

Preferred Experience:

- Experience with Direct Cool, Frost Free, Side-by-Side, Multi-Door, or Inverter Refrigerators
- Experience in consumer durable/home appliance companies is an added advantage
- Exposure to product testing, energy-efficiency standards, reliability testing, and value engineering

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
