Purpose of the Job

The Associate Manager – SAP BI & Analytics is responsible for the design, development, support, optimization, and governance of the organization's SAP analytics, business intelligence, and enterprise reporting landscape. The role provides hands-on technical leadership across SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, and legacy SAP BW environments, ensuring reliable, scalable, and high-performing analytical solutions that enable business decision-making.

The role partners closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, enterprise architecture, data engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and external implementation partners to deliver up-to-date enterprise analytics aligned with the organization's data strategy and digital transformation roadmap.

Job Description

Customer:

- Deliver reliable, accurate, and timely business reporting.

Operations:

- Administer SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP Solution Manager, SAP BTP, SAP Fiori, SAP Gateway, SAP Web Dispatcher,



SAP PI/PO (or Integration Suite), SAP Content Server, SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Router, SAP RISE, and related SAP technologies.
- Perform SAP installations, upgrades, enhancement packages, support packs, kernel upgrades, technical patching, and environment provisioning activities.
- Manage system copies, client copies, client refreshes, system refreshes, and overall SAP landscape maintenance.
- Administer SAP HANA databases, including backups, recovery support, database maintenance, performance monitoring, capacity management, and tuning.
- Manage SAP transports and releases through TMS, ChaRM (where applicable), transport sequencing, production deployments, maintenance windows, and planned outages.
- Monitor SAP system health, availability, performance, interfaces, jobs, spools, locks, work processes, memory, CPU, storage, dashboards, alerts, and monitoring tools.
- Configure and maintain High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), failover solutions, clustering, replication, business continuity, and platform resilience.
- Manage SAP security, users, authorizations, technical users, RFCs, certificates, SSO, SNC, SAP Identity Management, Identity Authentication Services, Identity Provisioning Services, and enterprise authentication mechanisms.
- Support SAP integrations and hybrid landscapes through RFCs, APIs, web services, middleware, cloud integration, cloud connectors, printers, and external system connectivity.
- support SAP projects, architecture reviews, infrastructure optimization, automation, root cause analysis,



documentation, SOPs, runbooks, recovery procedures, ITIL processes, on-call support, major incidents, and collaboration with infrastructure, cloud, storage, networking, virtualization, and security teams.

Financial Result:

- Optimize analytics platform utilization and licensing.
- Reduce report maintenance effort through reusable data models and standardized development.
- Improve development productivity through automation and best practices.
- Support delivery of BI initiatives within agreed budgets and timelines.

Job Requirements - Experience and Education

- 7–10 years of experience in SAP Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, or Enterprise Analytics.
- Minimum 2 years in a Lead, Senior Specialist, or technical leadership role.
- Strong experience with SAP Business Warehouse (BW or BW/4HANA).
- Experience implementing or supporting SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP Datasphere, or modern SAP analytics platforms.
- Experience developing SAP Analytics Cloud dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions.
- Experience with SAP HANA modelling and performance optimization.
- Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP data sources.
- Experience supporting enterprise reporting in Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Procurement, HR, or Logistics.
- Experience working within Agile and ITIL environments.
- Experience working with implementation partners and managed service providers.
