Job Description: Pest Control Operator

Position Overview

The Pest Control Operator is responsible for planning, directing, and supervising pest control operations to ensure effective prevention and elimination of pests across assigned areas. This role involves managing a team of technicians, developing pest control strategies, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of service delivery to safeguard people, property, and workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Operational Management
- Develop and implement pest control plans, schedules, and treatment programs.
- Monitor pest activity and ensure preventive measures are in place.
- Maintain inventory of chemicals, equipment, and protective gear.
- Team Leadership
- Supervise, train, and evaluate pest control technicians.
- Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national pest control regulations.
- Implement safe handling, storage, and disposal of pesticides and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments, inspections, and incidents.




- Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Address client concerns and provide professional solutions.
- Prepare reports, recommendations, and preventive strategies for clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (residential, commercial, agricultural, or hospitality clients).
- Administrative Duties
- Prepare budgets, manage expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Maintain service contracts, invoices, and client documentation.
- Report operational performance to senior management.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor’s degree
- Certification in pest control operations (as per government norms).
- 3+ years of experience in pest control services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of pesticides, and integrated pest management (IPM).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in record-keeping and reporting tools (Excel, ERP systems, etc.).
- Ability to work under pressure and resolve problems effectively.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
