Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Lead with solid expertise in test automation using Playwright and TypeScript , along with hands-on experience in CI/CD implementation . The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and driving the automation strategy, leading a team of testers, improving test coverage, and integrating automated testing into the DevOps pipeline to support high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers across multiple squads.
Define and implement the overall test strategy, test approach, and quality engineering practices.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in test automation, test data management, and quality metrics.
Skill Requirements
Automation Testing
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript .

Develop automated test cases for:
Functional Testing
Regression Testing
End-to-End Testing
API Testing
Cross-browser Testing
Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort.
Review automation code and enforce automation best practices.
CI/CD & DevOps Integration
Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines.





Configure and maintain automated test execution within:
Azure DevOps
GitHub Actions
Jenkins
GitLab CI/CD (preferred)
Ensure automated quality gates are established for deployments.
Support shift-left testing practices and continuous testing initiatives.
Stakeholder Management
Provide regular quality status updates to project and business stakeholders.
Manage test planning, estimation, execution tracking, defect reporting, and sign-off activities.
Participate in sprint ceremonies and release planning.
