Job Description — Shopify Website Developer

About the Role

The Luxury Florets is looking for a Shopify Website Developer who can build, maintain and continuously improve our e-commerce website.

The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience with Shopify, Shopify themes, Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and e-commerce conversion optimisation.

This role will work closely with our marketing team to ensure that the website is not only visually premium but also optimised to convert traffic generated through Meta Ads, Instagram and other digital marketing channels into sales.

Key ResponsibilitiesShopify Development

- Build, customise and maintain the TLF Shopify website.
- Customise Shopify themes according to the brand's luxury visual identity.
- Develop and modify Shopify sections, templates and components using Liquid.
- Create and optimise product pages, collection pages, landing pages and promotional sections.
- Manage Shopify apps and integrations.
- Improve website speed, mobile responsiveness and overall user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Implement new website features and functionality as the business grows.

E-commerce & Conversion Optimisation

- Improve the website journey from ad → landing page → product → checkout → purchase.
- Optimise product pages for higher conversion rates.
- Improve navigation, search, filters, cart and checkout experience.
- Implement effective offers, upsells, cross-sells and promotional sections where appropriate.
- Conduct A/B testing and recommend improvements based on website performance.
- Analyse customer behaviour and identify conversion drop-off points.

Meta Ads & Tracking





The developer should have a good understanding of how Shopify websites work with Meta Ads.

Responsibilities may include:

- Implement and maintain Meta Pixel on Shopify.
- Configure and troubleshoot Meta Conversions API (CAPI) where required.
- Ensure important e-commerce events such as ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout and Purchase are tracked correctly.
- Verify event tracking through Meta Events Manager.
- Work with the marketing team to ensure Meta Ads traffic is correctly attributed.
- Support retargeting and remarketing requirements.
- Help create dedicated landing pages for Meta advertising campaigns.
- Analyse website performance from paid traffic and recommend technical/conversion improvements.

Analytics & Performance

- Work with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager where required.
- Monitor website speed and Core Web Vitals.
- Track conversion rates and important e-commerce metrics.
- Identify technical issues affecting SEO, advertising performance or conversions.
- Ensure the website is properly optimised for mobile users.

Required Skills

- Strong Shopify development experience.
- Shopify Liquid.
- HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
- Shopify theme customisation.
- Shopify app integration.
- Responsive web development.
- E-commerce UX/UI understanding.
- Experience with Meta Pixel and Meta Ads tracking.
- Understanding of Meta Conversions API is preferred.
- Experience with GA4 and Google Tag Manager.
- Basic understanding of SEO.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.




- Good understanding of website conversion optimisation.

We want a developer who understands that the website is a core part of our sales and marketing system.

You should be able to look at a Shopify store and think about:

Traffic → User Experience → Product Discovery → Trust → Conversion → Purchase → Retention

You should be comfortable working alongside a marketing team running Meta Ads and making technical changes based on campaign performance and customer behaviour.
