- Qualification: D.Pharm / B.Pharm
- Experience: Fresher or 2–3 years
- Preference: Experience in hospital/retail pharmacy setup
- Strong knowledge of drug dispensing, storage & inventory management
- Understanding of hospital pharmacy protocols (prescription verification, drug interactions, scheduled drugs)
- Familiarity with pharmacy billing/software systems
- Ability to work under pressure in a 24x7 hospital workplace
- Attention to detail & accuracy in dispensing
- Good coordination with doctors, nursing & billing staff
- Willingness for shift duty/rotational shifts
- Documentation & compliance discipline (drug license norms, NABH audits)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately as per physician prescriptions
- Verify prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions & contraindications
- Maintain proper storage of medicines (temperature-sensitive, narcotics, scheduled drugs)
- Manage stock inventory,
expiry tracking & timely indenting
- Coordinate with wards/ICU/OT for emergency medicine supply
- Maintain records as per Drugs & Cosmetics Act and hospital pharmacy protocols
- Counsel patients/attendants on medication usage when required
- Ensure billing accuracy and coordinate with insurance/TPA desk if applicable
- Support NABH/regulatory audits with proper documentation
- Respond promptly to emergency medicine requirements from critical care areas
Salary:
