Job Title: Site Electrician

Reporting To: Site Supervisor / Project Engineer

Job Summary

The Site Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment at project sites. The role ensures safe and productive electrical operations, supports installation activities, and ensures all work is completed according to safety standards and project requirements.

Job Context

The Site Electrician works at project locations and coordinates with the Site Supervisor, Project Engineer, and other technical teams to complete electrical installation and maintenance work. The role involves handling wiring, panel connections, troubleshooting electrical faults, and ensuring safety compliance at the site.

Key Responsibilities

- Install electrical wiring, cable trays, and electrical components at the site
- Read and understand electrical drawings and layouts
- Install and connect electrical panels, motors, and equipment
- Perform electrical testing and troubleshooting of faults
- Maintain and repair electrical systems and components
- Ensure proper earthing and safety of electrical systems




- Support commissioning and installation of machines or equipment
- Follow electrical safety standards and company policies
- Coordinate with the project team for timely completion of work
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials properly
- Report daily work progress to the Site Supervisor

Knowledge & Skills

- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and installations
- Ability to read electrical drawings and diagrams
- Knowledge of electrical tools and equipment
- Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills
- Awareness of electrical safety practices

Experience Required

Minimum 2–4 years of experience in:

- Electrical installation at industrial or project sites
- Panel wiring and machine connections
- Maintenance and troubleshooting

Education

- ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
